MAINTENANCE AND EXCERCISE

We now get most services and maintenance work carried out at our local garage, which provides an excellent service. We can take the car to a main dealer if this is required though.

MOT’s are normally done at the local garage

To exercise your car we offer two level of service,

Run-up service – Fluid levels are checked and we start your car and run it up to a warm engine temperature. Electrical equipment is operated (windows, lights, wipers, etc)

Driven service – Fluid levels are checked, the car is warmed up and we take the car for a road test of 20 miles. The route is on good quality A road with few junctions and roundabouts etc. We are fully insured to drive your car. This service has the advantage of fully warming all the transmission, exercising the brakes and suspension. Vehicles are washed prior to being put back in storage. This service is relatively expensive as it requires you to retain the road tax on the car.
